Spreading FBT is part of a locally owned and operated company FBT (Freight & Bulk Transport). On 1st June 2004 Spreading FBT formed a joint venture with Ravensdown Fertiliser that provides many benefits to our fertiliser spreading clients:
GPS mapping system: Through our partnership with Ravensdown Fertiliser GPS mapping technology was introduced to Spreading FBT's fleet of spreaders. This system can provide proof of placement of the customers fertiliser which is accurate to within one metre. The system prints a map that is provided to the farmer for future reference and also for local bodies who may require this information. For more information on Ravtra

Accuracy of fertiliser placement: Spreading FBT operates a fleet of 4WD spreader trucks fitted with spinner/blower combinations ensuring the best possible spread on all terrain. All spreader trucks and operators are Spreadmark Certified to ensure accuracy of fertiliser placement. The operating area is North and coastal Taranaki along with North and Southern King Country.
Bulk stores: Spreading FBT has bulk stores at Okato and Inglewood. These stores enable Spreading FBT to give all customers the best possible service. Being able to uplift fertiliser from these stores means the trucks can work longer hours each day as well as during the weekends.
Minimal pasture damage: Wide floatation tyreson our vehicles minimise pasture damage and ground compaction yet provide maximum traction on steeper country.
